'Double Shot' Maceo San Juan, Colombia 56% Milk

This 56% milk chocolate bar is made with cocoa beans from from Maceo, San Juan in Colombia. We've paired it with Colombian coffee beans from our friends down the road, The Little Coffee Co—who source directly and roast their beans locally. We thought it would make a fun flavour experiment to see how these two Colombian products complemented one another. 

In Maceo, cocoa is gathered from about 250 farming families, with plots being around two hectares in size. Aromac is a locally owned business that wants to help farmers by giving them higher pricing and giving them a portion of their profits. Additionally, they actively back a neighbourhood project that assists women who have been abused at home.

Each bar weighs ~80g.

Ingredients: Cocoa Beans, Organic Raw Sugar, Organic Whole Milk Powder, Organic Cocoa Butter, Coffee Beans.
