These single origin brownies have been reborn in two new varieties after their knockout debut only weeks ago. I’ve tried them all (more than once, I confess) and they tick so many boxes. The flavours are distinctive; the depth is intense; the texture is smooth as silk. They work both as a special treat with morning tea and as comfort food in a crisis; they also make an exquisite dessert for guests. Served with a quality vanilla ice cream (such as Maggie Beer’s) or with double cream (like Tilba Dairy’s, if you can get it), they could equally well round off a meal at a top French restaurant, perhaps with a soupçon of fresh raspberry coulis on the side. I’m not surprised that, yet again, these have almost sold out. Don’t wait!
