This 50/50 bar is made with half white chocolate and half dark chocolate with beans from Kamuri Estate in Papua New Guinea. With the split bar, you can experience three different flavours by eating each chocolate separately, or by combining the two in one bite to make a milk chocolate.

The 33% white chocolate is made with Kamuri Estate cocoa butter, organic whole milk powder from New Zealand and organic vanilla sourced from Manus Island.

The 68% dark chocolate is made with Kamuri Estate beans, raw organic sugar and a touch of cocoa butter from the same origin.

The profile is very fruity without any smoke taint, which is a note which often comes through with common techniques for drying in wet and humid countries. At Kamuri Estate (est. 2015), beans are centrally fermented and sun dried in good drying houses to avoid smoke tainting the beans. They are also in the process of organic certification, with no non-organic chemicals being used.

For us, this bar is very reminiscent of raisins, rum and fruit cake.

Each bar weighs ~80g.
