Our Warm Weather Policy

 

To ensure your chocolates survive in transit, no matter what time of year, when the temperature is constantly above 28°C, we recommend selecting the "Express Shipping" option only. We will wrap your chocolate with thermal foil and add ice packs to keep the contents cool. We also keep a close eye on the weather (at our location AND yours), and may delay dispatch to avoid exposing your chocolate to extreme temperatures. We will touch base with you if we foresee any major delays! 

 

Do you deliver? 

 

We deliver via express post to all states across Australia except the NT, and are currently trialing shipping to a few select international destinations. As our products are temperature sensitive, we highly recommend having your products delivered to an address where someone can receive the goods personally.

 

Can you ship internationally?

 

We have sent a number of parcels overseas! Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your package. Please note that delivery times are often longer, and as such we only send via express for international packages.

 

How much does delivery cost?

 

Express postage is calculated automatically at checkout based on the weight of your order. For orders over $180, there is the option to select "FREE Standard Shipping". However during the warmer months we highly recommend selecting "Express Shipping" to prevent any potential damage in transit.

 

How long should I expect to wait for my order to dispatch?

 

We always aim to dispatch your order as soon as we can. We currently dispatch packages on Mondays—Wednesdays to avoid packages sitting in transit over the weekend. You can expect to wait 1-2 days for dispatch of items currently in stock. Please note that dispatch times do not include transit time once your package is with Australia Post. You will receive a notification once it has shipped.

 

During patches of hot weather, we may delay dispatch to avoid exposing our chocolate products to extreme temperatures. We will touch base with you if we foresee any major delays!

 

How long will delivery take?

 

After you have received your dispatch notification you can follow its progress via the tracking number provided. You can generally expect your package to arrive within 1-2 business days from dispatch within capital cities. If you live in a rural area please refer to AusPost delivery timeframe guidelines here.

 

We are not responsible for any delays by third party carriers, but will do our best to inform you when delays are likely.

 

Can I specify a delivery date?

 

We use a third party carrier for deliveries and as such cannot guarantee that your package will be delivered on or by your requested date.

 

My package has been dispatched! How can I find out where my package is?

 

The best place to find information about the whereabouts of your package once it has been dispatched is to use the tracking number provided to you within the dispatch notification or to contact Australia Post directly. 

 

My package arrived melted! What can I do?

 

We spend a lot of time and care in making and packing your orders so that they make it to you safely. This includes packing with thermal wrap and ice during periods of hot weather. We highly recommend selecting the "Express Shipping" option when checking out, and sending your package to an address where someone will be around to receive, such that it's not left in a hot mailbox or out on a sunny porch for extended periods of time.

 

If you opt for "Standard Shipping" in Summer or during hot weather, unfortunately we will be unable to replace your order if it is damaged due to heat in transit.

 

The bottom line is that chocolate still tastes great in whatever format. Popping your items in the fridge for 15 minutes will help to re-solidify them. We do understand though, that sometimes aesthetics matter e.g. for gifting purposes!
